Characteristics of the Sivash healing clay

Overview of the characteristics of the Sivash healing clay:

dark gray sulphides sea silt with a slight hydrogen sulfide odor.

Density: 1.5-1.6 g / cm3

Moisture content by weight: about 41-42%

pH: about 7.1-7.8 (neutral to slightly alkaline reaction)

Hydrogen sulfide content: about 0.1%

Mineral content of the sludge solution: approximately 173 g / l (salinity of the ocean is 30 g / l, Dead Sea Water 320 g / l)

Magnesium content of the sludge solution: about 8 g / l (Dead Sea water has about 1.3 g / l)

Calziumgehalt the mud solution: about 0.8 g / l (Dead Sea water has about 0.5 g / l)

Heat capacity: approximately 2.2-2.3 kJ / kgK

Contamination with particles> 0.25mm: about 0.5-0.7%

Tack: ca. 1.1-1.5 kPa

Sliding resistance: approximately 0.6-0.8 kPa

The Sivash healing mud produced in the concentrated pink Sole. In the brine of Sivash Lake rare microalgae Dunaliella Salina live. For your own protection, the microalgae produce large quantities of various carotenoids, especially beta-carotene and give Sole a beautiful pink color.

The mud reaches the user in its natural, ready-shape. It works by effectively and need not be first mixed with water.

Sivash healing mud acts plots and thin (1-2 mm). This simplifies considerably peloid.

Sivash healing mud has very good values with respect to sliding resistance and stickiness, which makes its application to the body comfortably and easily. He does not flow away from the body, no mess. Although the healing mud is dry it is still adhere quite well to the skin.

After treatment allows the Sivash-mud easily washed off with water and is suitable also for domestic medicinal mud (mud) therapy.

If the mud application is covered or vapor-coated with a film, the medicinal mud remains moist and can removed with a spatula from the skin and the residues are wiped off with a wet cloth after treatment. Here, the sludge let well washed out of the fabric and the towels are clean again.

In addition, you can go wrong with mud applications nothing. The healing sea mud has a natural product, when used as intended virtually no side effects.

The healing properties of medicinal mud is detected in the country of origin scientifically.

The conformity assessment procedure in accordance with the German Medical Devices Act and the EU directive on medical devices has been completed.

The sea mud from the western part of Siwaschsees is marketed in Europe under the name SIVASH® healing clay.

The mud structure is a complicated physicochemical dynamic system which consists of the mutually connected components, namely: 1. mud solution 2. coarsely Share (calcium and magnesium skeleton and clayey skeleton) and 3 finely dispersed fraction (hydrophilic colloid complex) :

1. The slurry solution is the liquid sludge fraction, mainly consisting of the salts dissolved in the water. The salt concentration of the sludge solution is 135.56 g / dm3. Dominant components of the slurry solution are chloride, sodium and magnesium ions. From the ratio of base cations and anions shows that the slurry solution is a chloride magnesium-sodium solution.

2. The coarsely dispersed share is the hard carrier of mud mass consisting of particles with diameters greater than 0.001 mm. These are mainly salt crystals, gypsum particles and vegetal animal residues. The silicate particles having the diameter of 0.1 mm to 0.25 mm are present in the amount of 9.06%. You are the one not desirable because they lead to the deterioration of the plastic-viscous properties of the muds. But from the other point of view, they form a sturdy skeleton sludge and keep the shape of a mud application. The amount of the silica particles with a diameter of 0.01 mm to 0.1 mm, and from 0.001 mm to 0.01 mm respectively 9.16% and 3.36%. The components of the calcium and magnesium skeleton are: calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, calcium sulfate and calcium phosphate.

3. The colloid fraction muds consists of particles with a diameter less than 0.001 mm: remains of decomposed organic substances and organo-mineral compounds (iron sulphide, iron sulfides). The colloid fraction connects individual particles of mud-skeleton, the interstices of the skeleton fills and gives the mud thermal, adsorbing and plastic properties. The proportion of colloid complex is in the mud 12.76%. In hydrophilic complex minerals dominate.

The content of organic matter is in the Sivash-mud at 8.26% (converted to carbon in the air-dried weight), which is characteristic of the healing mud. A substantial proportion of the organic substances of this medicinal mud have the humic substances, which are known for their good sorption, bacteriological (anti-microbial effect on the test cultures of Kolibakterie, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus) and bio-stimulating activity. As component of the organic composition of healing mud contains also the bitumen: Free Bitumen A and bound bitumen C. These give the mud the antiseptic properties. Some components of the organic complex have biological properties and can be used in treatment of a number of diseases.
